Fiber Content: 100% Cotton, Needle size 3 mm, Yarn weight: Fingering 4ply, Ball weight: 50 gram, Length:170 meter, Gauge:28 stitches, 40 rows to 10 cm on 3 mm needles, 40 degree wash.
I created these yarn packs to show off the gorgeous shades in the cotton 8 range. These could be the starting point as colour inspiration for a blanket. Two packs should give a decent sized lap blanket depending on the design/stitch you choose. You could make market bags, mandalas, coasters and placemats, a shawl, it is great for clothing, hats, scarves, Amigurumi, dreamcatchers. The list goes on! Check out the Ravelry Page of Cotton 8 for patterns and ideas!

Quite some time ago I made this Large Random Granny Square Blanket (as seen in the image. No pattern with the pack it is for inspiration only) I donated it to a super Charity that sent thousands of blankets to Syria. I loved the colours so much. They were just shades of various Yarns I had in my stash and I literally just put my hand in the bag and pulled out a shade to use next. As I ran out of yarn I just joined mid way through a round and continued with the other shade.
I put this pack together with those shades in mind and although they are not an exact match I think that they would give the same effect if you fancy making a random colour Granny square blanket. I only have one chain between each treble cluster and 2 chains in the corners, I turn my work on each round and join in different corners to stop the Granny square pattern from twisting. Of course you can use these shades for any design and depending on the style you choose this amount of yarn will give you a really good sized throw or a couple of baby blankets.
