A super speedy scarf is on my hook at the moment!
I eventually found time over the Easter weekend to start the Wilma Scarf by Annette at My rose Valley
Milly chose Swift Knit in the Nougat shade as the scarf is for her. She might get some use from it this year as it is such a speedy project with this super chunky yarn on a 10mm hook!
I love the fact that it grows so quickly as my crochet time has been so limited.
My blogging time has been non existent and I have sorely missed it!
Things were a bit manic for a while there..The stylecraft Cal meant I was very busy packing and posting orders for that amongst the normal orders that continue to grow each week. There have also been lots of preparations I needed to do to make the running of the Loopy operation a smoother one. I have been creating postcards to go in the parcels and other little technical jobs that stretched my limited capabilities.
I have been lucky that two great guys from the village have stepped in to help and for a small contribution have enable me to find ways through some of the frustrating technical issues :)
I also created an advert to go in the local free paper - page 28 should you wish to have a look at it :) So far it has proved to be very worthwhile. New customers and lots of enquiries so well worth the time it took me to do it and I learned a few new things along the way:)
