For my upcoming Beyond the Granny Square workshop for beginners (dates still to be arranged) I have created a very simple pattern to make a crochet hook cover. It will be part of the workshop kit. I shared it over on Insatgram and Facebook and I was asked a few times if I could share the pattern and I am very happy to do so :)
The pattern isn't rocket science but it will be a nice way to create something useful once the participants of the workshops have practised working into the chain. It's an easy way to get into following instructions. The catona cotton creates such a wonderful texture and the stitch definition means it is actually easy to see the stitches! I used shades 114 and 264 and I got two cases out of the two balls with some left over. There might be enough for a simple flower garland. Check out the Loopy Flower pattern which is perfect for beginners or the Luscious Little Flower pattern
I have saved it as a PDF so you should just be able to print it off. Here is the Loopy Hook Cover Pattern.
