Hello Luscious readers!
I’m Panda Go Urgh, also known as Elin Stoodley. You will be seeing a bit more of me in here so I thought I’d take the opportunity to introduce myself.
I’m a crochet enthusiast in Cardiff, Wales. I was born and raised in Sweden but I decided to live in the UK “for a bit”... That was 6 years ago... I feel at home here! I’ve got a lovely husband, who gave me the name Panda Go Urgh, and a 3 month old daughter named Isla. She’s lush!
Here’s me crocheting in a cemetery with Isla in a sling, as you do.
The name Panda Go Urgh comes from meeting my husband at a party where I wore panda make-up. (You’d think it was a fancy dress party, but it really wasn’t... Hrmm...) Aaaaanyway, Tim’s (my husband) nickname on gaming communities etc is Zombie Go Urgh, so when we became a couple I became Panda Go Urgh, naturally. The name has got nothing to do with crochet what so ever, but hey ho, pandas are cute and I have been known to go “Urgh” sometimes!
Yes, so crochet, the reason why I’m writing this... I started crocheting a few years ago... 4? 5? And for the past 3 years I’ve been doing it pretty much every day. I’m totally addicted to it. I love it. LOVE IT. It’s such a versatile craft. You can make clothes, toys, blankets, decorations, etc etc and the inspiration, gorgeous yarns to try and exciting patterns never seems to end! I love crochet, but I also love the crochet community on the internet, especially on Instagram, where I found Lynn and Lusciously Loopy. I love looking at creative patterns, lovely creations and gorgeous yarns online. I love posting pictures of my own makes and having people respond from all over the world!

So I've decided I want to go even deeper down into the crochet jungle, and get even more involved in the online crochet community, and that’s where Lynn and Lusciously Loopy comes in to the picture. Me and Lynn are going to work together to put some STUFF (patterns, tutorials, blogs, posts, giveaways, tips, who knows what else) out into the crochet community. Our first collaboration will be two (yes 2!) cushion patterns with a yarn pack to make them. Yay! It will be fab!
Finally, I hope you Luscious People will welcome me with open arms and that you will like the things that I and Lynn do together, starting with the cushion patterns coming soon!
If you want to see more of me, I’d be very happy if you’d follow me in Instagram. You can find me @pandagourgh, of course! And don’t forget to check out the hashtag #PandaGoLoopy
