I have no pictures of the cheesecake but loads of pictures of everything else in the title :) The cheesecake was rather delicious! A great big slice of creamy baileys cheesecake with a sticky, syrupy sauce finished off a Sunday lunch at a local pub :) Found it difficult to move after the roast lamb and cake but after a short breather at home Alan and I set off for a stroll around Crummock water. Milly was due to join us but she decided that after her 3 mile walk with Amy that morning she would stay home and watch a movie :)
Alan and i had a lovely walk. We are so very lucky to live in the Lake district and don't always make enough effort to get out and about to the stunning countryside around us..We had so many wonderful memories tied up in the walk around the lake. Walks with family, many walks and picnics with home ed friends, walks with Milly throughout the years.
The one that came to mind on Sunday was a snowy Christmas day walk we had - we worked out that she was about 8 at the time...
We found an ice heart shape in the snow that day <3
The next day Milly and I had a date at the Cinema to see Lucy ... great film! Mind boggled ;)
Before we went in we decided to visit the cove. It is a rather bleak area. A wind farm near the sea. Run down and down a long pot holed road. But the cove holds more special memories made with great friends :)
Milly lights up my life on a daily basis but did so quite literally in this image
August has been a wonderful, colour filled crochet month!
I started a lap throw for the living room and am well and truly hooked and am sat surrounded by yarn and tiny circles are growing nicely ..so are the ends! Despite my best intentions I just can't seem to stop making them to weave the ends..I am planning to have a happy meditative evening (probably a couple actually!) weaving ends in after I have it all joined together.
September is my birth month and to celebrate I am offering 20% off all sales and free postage for the whole month :)
I have a few other offers in the pipeline to share with you.. I will keep you posted :)
