It has been a busy couple of days since I got back from Newcastle. I was staying over as my Dad is in hospital there. I enjoy sharing with you guys on here but on this occasion I haven't written about it. It is different when it is someone else's story to tell. Dad has cancer and has undergone a massive operation but is now on the mend and is progressing really well.
My Sister found a fabulous place to stay near the hospital and we were all able to spend time together and visit him regularly. It is going to be another busy week next week so I am trying to pack as many of the things I have planned for work in as I can.
I have had some lovely new customers - you old customers are lovely too ;) - and some very kind words about Lusciously Loopy <3
The v stitch tutorial is progressing. I love doing it but it is time consuming. I had another stylecraft order in and had to list a lot of new stock which is also a pleasure but takes ages! I have a few other things that I want to do but they will now have to wait til late next week. Instagram has been busy tonight and facebook has been busier over the last few days too. I love meeting new folk and talking via the facebook page or instagram . Social media suits me..I am quite an introverted person and it is great to communicate with so many people in a way that
works for me :)
I got three more colours in the swift knit range on the order and also my first six colours in the Life Super Chunky. I love them both so much and am itching to get crocheting. I just haven't got the time at the moment. I will have that to look forward to :)
I have been looking at lovely patterns for super chunky knits and crochet. I love the idea of having a super speedy project off the hook in no time. I have been browsing the internet for super chunky inspiration..
Yesterday My Rose Valley shared a link and I fell in love with her pattern!
Look at this loveliness...
This is the scarf I will be crocheting :)
Nip over to her Etsy page and buy yourself one.
I'm going to get mine asap.
I love Annette's scandi style and she has many other patterns that are well worth purchasing.
I just have to decide which of the super chunky yarns and colours I will use..
Oooh decisions decisions.
I have more super chunky patterns to share with you but right now I need to get off here and head to bed as we have a day out together planned tomorrow.
Night night and sleep tight :)
