At present I am a small business..
A petite, pocket sized business actually :)
You have got to start somewhere though and this is that start!
I am holding stock from a few quality suppliers.
As time goes on I hope to stock a much wider range and my aim is to always supply quality yarn so that the wonderful items you create so lovingly will stand the test of time.
A large proportion will be natural fibres or blended with natural fibres. I am also researching small independent yarn producers with the hope that I can bring some of the yarn they produce to the shop.
I am a relative novice in this exciting world of yarn. I may not have a comprehensive knowledge of all the processes but I am learning all the time and have a network of yarny friends with more experience. The yarn world has proved to be a wonderfully warm place (another bad pun..sorry!) very welcoming and it has a real sense of community..
Now obviously there is just no way I can compete with the myriad of other on line yarn shops…nor would I want to. I can only do the best I can to offer good products and hope that people like the experience of shopping here…If you do then perhaps you will call again and maybe tell a few friends..
As a starting point I am choosing yarn that I think you will love. It is quite frustrating not to be able to hold all the colours of every range from the suppliers I do have... I've been told that I have a good eye for colour and I have tried to put together a selection that compliments each other.
If there is anything you would like to order from the suppliers I deal with that I don’t have in stock please don’t hesitate to contact me and I will try my best to get it for you..
I look forward to aiding and abetting your yarny love ......
I leave you with this thought..
“it is pure potential. Every ball or skein of yarn holds something inside it, and the great mystery of what that might be can be almost spiritual”
