Exciting news! We launched the Free Pilar cushion cover Pattern on Ravelry and the Yarn pack to make it including the additional Mossa cushion cover pattern. When deciding on names for the patterns we thought that as Elin is Swedish we would chose the names Pilar which is Swedish for Arrow and Mossa is Swedish for Moss.
There is enough yarn in the pack to make the two cushions with buttons in shades that compliment the yarn. The two patterns work really well together and the stitches make for the perfect texture for cushions. A nice tight weave that should wear well. These are beautiful to look at but eminently practical too!
Add some plumptious, coordinating cushions to a chair, couch or bed near you!
When we first discussed what to make the idea of a smaller project was the one that made most sense. We wanted the pattern to be free and as a thank you for buying the yarn pack we decided to add an extra free pattern to the pack! This PDF pattern is emailed to you when you purchase the pack.
As a celebration of our first collaboration If you buy the pack you will also be entered into a draw that will take place on the 13th December. The winner will receive a voucher for £15.00 to spend on anything in the shop. Good LucK!
Elin has a head full of wonderful creative ideas and we will be working through them as we add more packs to the range. Initially though I had to be a little more restrained than I would have liked when it came to the commitment of ordering (and paying for) yarn and buttons for the packs. Just one of the limitations for a small business with limited available funds that can be a tad frustrating :)
This is a starting point though and as we have no track record of how things are likely to go and I have just taken on new Red Heart, Regia and King Cole ranges of yarn I have had no choice but to be a little more cautious.
Once we see how they sell I will take pre orders and get more in stock as quickly as possible.
We hope you love them!
