This morning started at 5.51 am precisely!
I had hoped that I might snooze a little more....nope I was awake and apparently that was the start of the day :)
I decided that a long hot bath and a cup of Rooibos might help the chills that had awoken me. It did and after a quick tidy round and a green juice, I sat down to work.
I had to order another 17 bags of the stylecraft Dk as I have very nearly sold out of some colours. Luckily the order hadn't gone yet so I was able to add it on..I hope it comes this week although the juggling to get if all fitted in the space should be amusing :)
In time I will be able to stock more of each colour but at the moment the cash flow isn't quite there.
After that I was sorely tempted to go straight to working on the V stitch tutorial but the weather was atrocious and any photographs taken would have been useless. So, I buckled down to a lot of fiddly little jobs that involved planning, pricing up a couple of things I have in the pipeline, creating systems to help keep on top of accounting and such , and a batch of emails that needed to be sent.
I packed up an order that had come in late last night. R went above and beyond by printing the label for the courier at 11 and the although I said not to bother bringing it round til the next day he popped it through the letterbox. I also picked an order for a customer who is waiting for two colours to come on the new delivery.
I created an image for a giveaway to celebrate over 500 followers on instagram. It is a job I enjoy doing but it is time consuming. Setting up to take the picture is still frustrating as I just don't have the equipment but a white sheet and a box behind it to act as a backdrop worked fine :)
The the editing and adding the text. I use photoscape at the moment/ Although I do have photoshop..... I just need to have lessons on how to use it!
I'm lusciouslyloopy.crochet.yarn over on Instagram if you fancy entering.
Then. the decks were clear and the to do lists had been organised into one long list and I will use that to make a daily lists from. The yarn was sitting waiting for me to begin recording the tutorial but Milly needed help setting up her new Iphone5s!
These things never run smoothly for us it seems. A long chat with the lovely Alicia from 02 sorted us out though.
Two years ago Milly chose to use her pocket money each month to fund an iphone. She loved it and has taken great care of it. It does however have some houmous in the speaker after one disaster whilst eating lunch ;) She decided to upgrade when her contract was up and continue using her pocket money to fund it.
The new one looks great and she is enjoying getting used to it.
I posted on FB about design seeds and thought I would share here too. It is great inspiration for colour combinations.
So the early bird did get the worm today but is extremely tired now! Is it only 7.30?
it feels like midnight :)
We have an episode of Greys Anatomy to watch together and then I might crawl into bed :)
