Mainly work and Alan has been on holiday but also a new addiction to Game of Thrones has taken up each evening when the three of us sat to watch as many episodes as we could before tiredness overtook us! We are now going cold turkey til the third series arrives..God know what we will do when that is finished as we don't have sky to watch series four!
Things are moving along on the shop side of things..Lots of work done like researching the distance selling laws and a great deal written for each page on the website ready for going live. I am just waiting for some images from the supplier and then it is all systems go!
Today the sun was shining so brightly it was a perfect spring day! I had an appointment with Jacqui from W.I.S.E ( Ways into successful enterprise ) There were major roadworks and after three failed attempts to find a way round them, with what seemed like a million other cars doing the same thing - I am an exaggerator as well as a procrastinator ;) - and getting lost in a seemingly endless housing estate I had reached my limit and my nerves were shot! I had to ring, admit defeat and re arrange the appointment to next week..
Back home to put a chilli together to bubble for a couple of hours for Milly to have for tea and then out to the dentist. I decided to park at The Aldi outside town as main street was blocked off ( different town but even more roadworks! ) and walk. I set off in brilliant sunshine minus my jacket again which is always a moment to celebrate and although I only had a little time before my appointment I couldn't resist stopping to take some pictures.
The way back to the car...
I sauntered along..no rush to go anywhere or be anywhere and then slowed down some more as I relished the feeling of freedom even just for those moments...
I just had to stop the car on the way home as the setting sun was beautiful..I couldn't stop where I wanted to ( which would have been a stunning image ) and it has lost something but still beautiful I think :)
Back home and back into full swing with emails and 'stuff' sitting with Milly and deciding to blog rather than make the biscuits I have planned for meditation here tomorrow..Deviating from the meditation cake and making some oat cookies...no sugar but they do have Maple syrup in so I hope the girls can eat them - we are all 'of an age' but I still think of them as 'the girls' ;)
I have put it off til now but must get on so I can fit in a bath to watch The Sewing Bee on my kindle before joining Milly for My Mad fat Diary on the tele..
Night night x
