Hello and a very warm welcome to
My name is Lynn. I am loving this time of my life and am happily creating in my small corner of beautiful Cumbria. I rediscovered crochet a couple of years ago and fell hook (sorry.. bad pun!) line and sinker in love with it!
Since I set up Lusciously Loopy and began selling my crochet creations things have moved on and I have ventured into the world of yarn selling!
I adore yarn and although I am a recent convert I am soaking up as much information as I can and hope to offer you the best possible quality at a reasonable price. Customer service is hugely important to me and I will try my utmost to ensure your experience with me is a good one.
When I set out it was with the hope that I could create a small income doing a job that I loved, to be in charge of my working conditions and the hours I work, to be able to integrate my work life and family life as seamlessly as possible. So far, so good…on track and enjoying the process.
I work alone although I do have two willing volunteers in the shape of a wonderful and supportive husband and daughter should help be needed.

This new venture is me jumping off a cliff and developing my wings :)
We are starting off small and intend to keep ploughing back any money made to grow the business. It may be a slow process because of the financial restraints but slow is not always a bad thing. There will be a wider range of yarn purchased and knitting and crochet accessories added as time goes on. I want to create kits and they are in the research stage at the moment. It is an exciting time and I look forward to the journey ahead with anticipation and if I am honest just a smidgen of apprehension. A natural emotion I think! The excitement and joy of creating a new way of life we have dreamed about for a long time far outweigh that emotion though…
I have M.E..I mention this not because it defines who I am but because it does have a bearing on my story. In 1994 I had to leave my job working as a senior manager based in Liverpool for a large discount chain store. It was heart breaking and it took many years for me to come to terms with the changes imposed by illness. However I now look at it as a blessing ….. the changes I was forced to make brought me to where I am now….
Should you like to know a little bit more about me I wrote a blog post a short while ago that explains how Lusciously Loopy came to be.
If we advance confidently in the directions of our dreams, and endeavour to live the life which we have imagined, we will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
